As a Yoga Therapist, I highlight your inherent ability to heal old patterns so that you can suffer less, connect more deeply in relationships with yourself and others, and cultivate more joy in your life. Turning to food as fuel and appreciating function over form so that you can be nourished body, mind, and spirit.

My name’s Lillie and I’ve been in your shoes.

I know the loneliness of restricting meals, the shame of overeating, and the exhaustion of serial dieting. In fact, you could say that not only have I been in your shoes, but I’ve likely endured the same nightmare of skinny jean culture that you have.

But I also know what it’s like to be on the other side of disordered eating, and I can tell you there’s a lot less suffering, and a lot more joy and connection. Full transparency: there are times when it’s still challenging for me, but after many years of both self-exploration and professional training, I’m now much better equipped to ride the highs and lows of discomfort with food. My worth and lovability are no longer directly tied to how I think my body looks, and food is no longer the villain.

Now as a Yoga Therapist, I help other women who are experiencing some of the exact same things that I’ve been through. I incorporate my training as a Certified Yoga Therapist and Life Mentor, to help you suffer less in your body and change your relationship with food.

If any of these sound familiar, Yoga Therapy might be just the solution that you’re looking for:

  • You’re ready to explore the root of your disordered eating and create lasting change in your relationship with food

  • You’re ready to nourish your body and to engage more fully in your life, interests, and relationships

  • You’re ready to learn new ways to cope with your anxiety and depression and stop your body’s suffering

  • You’re ready to be comfortable in your own skin, instead of feeling disconnected from your body

  • You’re ready to communicate your needs more openly and effectively

  • You’re ready to change your inner dialogue from self-loathing to self-loving and create more joy in your life!

Personal stuff …

I grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina, and am fortunate to call it home today with my husband and two pups.

I love to cook; quality time with friends and family around my table is one of my greatest satisfactions. I love the ocean; you can find me basking in the sun on the boat, or paddling into small waves on my longboard. Yard work is a mindfulness practice; weeding, gardening, beekeeping, you name it - leave it to a flowers and bees to teach you the power of communicating your needs, and flaunting what you got.

I love a punchline and think humor has a beautiful way of breaking the ice for meaningful conversation.

I’m a deep thinker, a deep feeler and I love to celebrate the people in my life.

I know firsthand, that we are the only thing getting in the way of our success, and when we commit to ourselves, we are capable of boundless, vibrant lives.
